AEPAC YOUTH

The AEPAC Youth group is a branch of the American Ethiopian Public Affair Committee (AEPAC) that is dedicated to promoting a positive, synergetic relationship between the United State and Ethiopia. AEPAC also promotes the respect for human rights, religious freedom, and rule of law as it relates to all Ethiopians and ensuring democracy and economic wellbeing for all Ethiopians here in the US and Ethiopia.
The mission of AEPAC Youth group is to mobilize and create a network of young Ethiopian American that will be the next generation of strong Ethiopian American changemakers who will continue the legacy of AEPAC. AEPAC Youth group purpose is to:
  • Engage, Empower, and Elevate: Connect with like-minded peers, community leaders and experts. Be inspired and informed about their rich cultural heritage and history.
  • Be A Voice for Good: Stand up against human right violation, bring attention to injustice, and demand action.
  • Fulfil their American civic duties: Support pro-Ethiopia US political candidates and/or run for political office to bring positive changes here in the US and back home in Ethiopia.
  • Giving Back: Support Ethiopian communities here in the US and back in Ethiopia via engagements, knowledge sharing and volunteering
